We had a meeting about his academic needs this morning for the next school year. Around December he had a big change, they don't know what it was or is that made the big turn around in his behavior. But he is doing tremedously well, and is very smart. Impressive. And just like other kids in his condition he will still need to attend the resourceful class during the week.
He cannot have dual language, and will remain in 'English' only. Kind of bit my behind, but since they are more experience scholasticly I won't argue.
Other than the above he is doing very well, and we are proud of his achievements. We were also told we will not be the center of his life, this will be the time we get put aside.. his peers will be more important to him. So, expect big changes in him.
We knew this day was coming, and dreaded it.. but our baby is not longer here... Now we have a Big Boy on our hands.
