Grandson had a big day today. He travelled far and way far into the rez. Even though he took a nap, the trip wasn't over yet, and he napped again.. finally we made it there.
He got to see some historical sites of the Navajo's and he was briefed. Not the harshness of the history, just the Navajo's fought hard for their land. He was amazed at the site, and stared at it for a while.
He had Navajo food today, but he didn't see it appetizing at all. So he opted on other meals. The physical exhaustion was there. He got to run up and down a hill. He slipped on couple of sticks and fell, quickly he got a hold of Grandpa's hand and didn't let go. What a stinker. He has been singing a lot lately, and that's what kept us all entertained.
